Do I have to share a room?

We base our prices on sharing a twin room as we feel it really helps the group mix and it’s a great way to make new friends.

We’ll be in touch before your trip to find out some more information about you, and then use this to buddy you up with someone similar.

However, there is an option to upgrade and choose your own room which you can choose at a later stage.

What type of accommodations do you use?

Our trip wanderers carefully choose accommodation based on location, facilities, space and more, so you can go knowing you are staying at the best places available. Generally, you can look forward to stunning, hand-selected and characterful  hotels (usually three or four stars) to rest your head.

In some countries and remote regions where it is a little more challenging to find hotels, we stay in incredible alternative accommodation like treehouses, ice domes and tents on top of Jeeps.

We secure our room allocations way in advance so it is rare that we have to change properties, however, if we do, we will always put you up somewhere of an equal quality.

Are flights and airport transfers included?

Flights to the tour destination are not included in the trip price. However, on-tour flights and all other modes of on-tour transport are included. If you’d like help booking international flights, please get in touch via email or live chat.

Generally, airport transfers are not included in the tour price unless otherwise stated in your essential trip information, which you will receive once you have booked a trip.

I have special dietary requirements – will they be catered for?

We will try our very hardest to accommodate all dietary requirements but in some out-of-the-way places it can be very difficult to guarantee. We will let you know if there are places on your itinerary where this is the case. Please let us know at the time of booking of any food requirements or allergies and we’ll pass the information onto your leader. It is also a great idea to bring a card with your dietary requirements written in the local language for those times you are eating away from the group.
